DSO2
Dynamic Soundstage Organizer2 (DSO2) circuitry induces subtle phase shift in the preamp output, different in each output channel, to simulate a sound source that is wider in origin – essentially extending the perceived boundary of the car. Further, the frequency response in a section of the sound is altered to further enhance the perception that the sound is originating from a point higher up than it actually is.
These two factors combine to seemingly raise the sound stage, and spread it wider across the dash, even if the speakers are mounted low in the doors.
