Most dashboards found in today's vehicles are perpendicular to the floor - they form a relatively flat and level surface on which to mount a CD receiver. As such, most CD receivers are manufactured with this specification in mind.
There are cases however, in which the mounting surface sits at an angle, and the average CD receiver may not perform optimally in this configuration. Most Sony CD receivers feature a 45 degree maximum mounting angle, allowing them to be used in virtually any custom or unusual installation, without any degradation in performance. |
